Two ways to turn it on, first way is hold the light and gently press the top with your finger, another way is install the hook and rotating the hook base to turn on it.

Operating Instructions:
The lamp will now be operated as a normal household lamp and can be turned on/off by using the light switch.
The internal Li-lon battery will be charged whenever the light switch is set to ON.
During a power failure,the lamp will be operated as an emergency lamp and switch on automatically as long as the light switch is set to ON.
If the light switch is OFF,the user must turn on the lamp by using the light switch when light is required.
